Mobile veterinary pet care in the comfort of your home.

ABOUT US

We're Mobile,

We're Mobile,

We're Mobile,

We're based in Baldivis and service the southern suburbs from Fremantle to Mandurah in Western Australia. We offer a stress free, reliable and convenient service in the comfort of your own home. We want to make it as easy as possible for pet owners to provide their companions with the love and care they deserve.

We're Vets,

We're Mobile,

We're Mobile,

Dr Hendrik Swanepoel was born in South Africa and graduated with honours from Murdoch University in 2012. Dr Swanepoel started his veterinary career in Esperance, working in a mixed animal practice and has extensive experience working in small animal and emergency practice in Perth. He is highly regarded within the veterinary community.

We Care

We're Mobile,

We Care

We provide professional veterinary advice for animals big and small. Not only will we provide veterinary care but we want to help educate our clients to care for their furry friends. Our motto is 'prevention is better than cure'. Always feel free to ask a question about your pet.

Why a mobile vet?

Convenience

We understand that due to circumstance it can sometimes be difficult for both pet and owner to get to vet clinics. Whether, you are a stay at home parent with young children, elderly or have a disability or have larger breeds which are difficult to transport, The Mobile Veterinarians come to you.

Stress Free

Pets feel more comfortable when they are in an environment they know and this makes it easier for owners and vets to treat them. Some pets do not do well being transported by car to the vet clinic and some may have had bad experiences at vet clinics and become highly stressed in a clinic environment. So we come to you to take the stress out of the vet visit.

Home Euthanasia

Saying goodbye is the hardest decision a pet owner can make. When the time comes to say goodbye, we come to your home and when you are ready we make it a smooth transition for your pet, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds and smells.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at admin@themobilevets.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A mobile vet offers many of the same services as a veterinary clinic, but with the convenience of coming to your home. This includes routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostic testing, and end-of-life care.

The cost of a routine check-up varies depending on the type of animal and any additional services that may be required. Our standard consultation fee starts at $130, excluding travel and medication.

Prepare by making sure your pet is in a safe and comfortable area of your home where the vet can easily access them. Have any medical history, medications, or concerns ready to discuss. It's helpful to ensure your pet is calm and relaxed, as this will make the visit easier for everyone involved.

We prefer not to administer sedation at home due to the need for close monitoring and safety precautions. We believe sedation carries risks that are best managed in a clinic setting where immediate medical support is available if needed.
